Father/Daughter Winter Retreat A Big Success!
Spring skiing conditions, beautiful scenery, and lots of camaraderie & father/daughter bonding all combined to make this year’s trip one of the best yet.
The over 240 dads & daughters on 4 buses did have a little adventure, however, as on the return trip Monday morning, a winter storm conspired to disable Bus #3. The two Chairmen of the trip, Steve Fullmer & Martin Lorch, along with the 4 bus captains, worked together to safely transfer all passengers from Bus 3 on to the other buses.
Everyone arrived safe, if a little weary, back at Xavier that evening.
We would like to thank Steve, Martin and all the event committee members for the hundreds of hours they spent planning and supervising this wonderful experience.

The nomination process for next year is underway and this is your chance to get involved in your daughter's school. We will also give you all the details on the upcoming Imagine Fashion Show and all the fun Moms on the Move events for Spring.
To help with parking, shuttles will be running from North Phoenix Baptist Church on Bethany and Central starting at 11. So come and join the fun and have lunch with your friends! |

Announcement from Dr. Kathleen Conway, English Department Chair
Ms. Janelle Underhill, Rio Salado College librarian, will present a special session for all past, present, and future Rio Salado Dual Enrollment students and faculty on Monday, January 23, in the Grubb Lecture Hall at 2:45-3:30 PM. Sophomores, juniors, and seniors are urged to attend this session and learn about the many ways Rio Salado’s library can assist you with assignments in any class discipline. All aspects of research, rhetoric, expository and creative writing will be covered. You will learn how Rio’s technology can enhance your college and career development. Faculty in-service credit will be offered, and students are encouraged to contact teachers to learn how attending this session may be rewarded in class this semester. Attendance will be taken at the session, and participants will receive a certificate attesting to their presence at the session. Don’t miss this fine opportunity to learn how Rio can help you succeed. |

Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic School Open House for Fall 2012

Congratulations from Sister Lynn
TO: NINE Xavier students who were selected as winners of the Arizona Affiliate of the NCWIT Aspirations in Computing Award! This award is open to every high school girl in the state and some winners come from as far away as Page and Lake Havasu. There will be an awards ceremony held at ASU in conjunction with National Engineers Week, Feb 19-25.
